Jamaica maintained their unbeaten run when the beat Panama 1-0 in a 2023 World Cup Group F encounter at the Perth Rectangular Stadium in Australia on Saturday.
The only goal of the match came after Allyson Swaby headed in from Trudi Carter’s corner in the 56th minute to give the Jamaicans their first ever World Cup win.
The Jamaicans, who are equal on four points together with France, need to beat or draw with Brazil in their final group stages match next week if they want to advance to the last-16 of the tournament.
