Goals by debutants Terrence Dzvukamanja and Etiosa Ighodaro helped SuperSport United defeat Richards Bay FC 2-0 in DStv Premiership clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday afternoon.
Matsatsantsa a Pitori took the lead after Dzvukamanja beat Natal Rich Boyz goalkeeper Salim Magoola from a Shandre Cambell cross in the 56th minute.
Ighodaro, who replaced an injured Bradley Grobler eight minutes before the half-time break, netted Matsatsantsa’s second goal in the 72nd minute after the Natal Rich Boyz defence failed to clear a corner.
Meanwhile, Lamontville Golden Arrows and Moroka Swallows played to a 1-1 draw at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale.
Abafana Bes’thende scored first through debutant Siyanda Mthanthi’s six minutes into the second half and Tshegofatso Mabasa, who joined Swallows on loan from Orlando Pirates, equalised for the Dube Birds in the 77th minute.
