Sanele ‘Tornado’ Msimang had the World Boxing Federation (WBF) International junior-welterweight belt strapped around his waist on Saturday evening.
This followed after the Inchanga-born Msimang beat Luvuyo Mputi from East London by a unanimous points decision at the APN Portuguese Hall in Durban.
Meanwhile, Mnelisi Neo Ndlovu is the new KwaZulu-Natal bantamweight champion after he stopped Mxolisi Sibiya in the eighth round.
