Australia’s Matildas are going to play in the quarter-finals of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup against the winner of Tuesday’s match between France and Morocco.
This followed after the Matildas defeated Denmark 2-0 in a last-16 match at Stadium Australia in Sydney on Monday.
The Matildas’ deadly striker Caitlin Foord broke the deadlock a minute before the half hour mark and Hayley Raso made it 2-0 in the 71st minute.
