TS Galaxy’s positive start to the new season continued as they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in a DStv Premiership clash at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Sunday.
Higor Vidal came from the left side and forced an own goal from Amakhosi goalkeeper Brandon Petersen four minutes after the half-time break.
The outcome of the match showed that Chiefs’ struggle continued as they have now drawn once against Chippa United and lost twice having been beaten 2-1 by Mamelodi Sundowns almost a fortnight ago.
Meanwhile, the Rockets have won two matches – defeated Cape Town Spurs and Chiefs – and drawn once against the Chilli Boys.
