World title challenger Razell Mohamed is settling well in New Zealand ahead of Saturday’s fight against Te Arani Moaratana ‘Lani’ Daniels.

Mohamed, who challenges reigning International Boxing Federation (IBF) female heavyweight champion Daniels at the Eventfinda Stadium in Auckland, had a public workout at the NZME Building on Wednesday.

“The media workout went very well. We met our opponent and we have a height advantage. She doesn’t scare us at all. But we are not underestimating her,” Mohamed’s trainer Caiphus Ntante said.

The 34-year-old Ankervas Primary School teacher in Rocklands, Kariega, goes to the Daniels fight with a record of three wins and two draws while her opponent has eight victories, two losses and two draws.
