With a clearance from Boxing South Africa (BSA) in hand, Hekkie ‘Hexecutioner’ Budler is now ready to leave for Japan where he will fight against Japanese boxer Kenshiro ‘The Amazing Boy’ Teraji in less than 14 days.
Budler’s desire is to dethrone World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Association (WBA) ‘Super’ junior-flyweight champion Teraji when they meet at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, on Monday, 18 September.
The 35-year-old Budler, who had a public workout at the Hot Box Gym on Wednesday, leaves for Japan on Saturday together with his trainer Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan, assistant trainer Shannon Strydom and cutman Bernie Pailman.
Not only will the WBC and WBA titles be at stake during this very important shootout, the two antagonists are going to fight for the Ring Magazine belt as well.
