Poor handling by Citizens goalkeeper Bongani Mpandle resulted in Mbongeni Gumede breaking the deadlock in the sixth minute.
Last season’s joint top goalscorer Khanyisa Mayo equalised for the Citizens in the 26th minute. The Citizens took the lead when Tshegofatso Nyama netted in the 58th minute.
