Kaizer Chiefs announced on Monday morning that they had released attacking midfielder Kamohelo Mahlatsi with immediate effect.
The 25-year-old Mahlatsi, who hails from Sebokeng in Vereeniging, joined Amakhosi from Moroka Swallows in June last year.
“Kamohelo has given his best at all times while a Chiefs player and, following consultation with his representatives, we decided to release him with a view to him finding more regular game time somewhere else. We appreciate his efforts and wish him all of the bestfor the future,” Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Junior said.
Previously, Mahlatsi played for the University of Pretoria, Ubuntu Cape Town and SuperSport United.
