Cape Winelands side Stellenbosch FC confirmed the departure of their star midfielder Sibongiseni ‘Ox’ Mthethwa for Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday evening.
Stellies announced that Mthethwa from Estcourt in KwaZulu-Natal left for Chiefs after a buy-out clause in his contract was activated.
The 29-year-old former Black Leopards and Royal Eagles midfielder made 56 appearances for Stellies before deciding to join Amakhosi.
