Kaizer Chiefs announced on Thursday morning that they had finally signed midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa from Cape Winelands side Stellenbosch FC.
Mthethwa from Estcourt in KwaZulu-Natal has joined Chiefs on a three-year contract, which will expire in June 2026.
“We warmly welcome Sibongiseni Mthethwa to the team. We know he’s a good player with great experience under his belt. We believe that he will hit the ground running and contribute straight away,” Amakhosi sporting director Kaizer Motaung Junior said.
The 29-year-old Mthethwa is set to start training with his new Chiefs teammates on Monday next week.
