Mamelodi Sundowns can’t stop winning after they maintained their 100 percent record beating Stellenbosch FC 3-1 in a DStv Premiership match at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Wednesday evening.
The Cape Winelands side scored first as they took the lead through Devin Titus’ goal in the 14th minute.
Defender Grant Kekana equalised for the Tshwane giants when he beat Stellies goalkeeper Sage Stephens from an acute angle in the 34th minute.
The Brazilians took the lead after Aubrey Modiba’s stunning free kick sailed over Stephens to make it 2-1 six minutes before the half-time break.
Second half substitute Siyabonga Mabena stretched the defending DStv Premiership champions’ lead after he scored from Peter Shalulile’s pass in the 90th minute.
Meanwhile, Sundowns have now registered eight straight wins and have also set a 32-match unbeaten record.
