Polokwane City worked hard to earn three points after they beat Royal AM 1-0 in a DStv Premiership tie at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday evening.
Veteran forward Ndumiso Mabena, formerly with Orlando Pirates, Royal AM and Bloemfontein Celtic, scored the only goal of the match on the stroke of half-time.
This was the 36-year-old Mabena’s first goal in two matches since his recent move to Rise n Shine.
