Cape Town Spurs lost their eighth match of the season after they were beaten 2-1 by SuperSport United in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Athlone Stadium on Wednesday evening.
It took the Urban Warriors five minutes to shoot into the lead through Therlo Moosa’s goal.
Matsatsantsa a Pitori surged forward in search of an equaliser and they levelled matters through Bradley Grobler in the 35th minute. Grobler completed his brace four minutes before full-time.
Meanwhile, Polokwane City defeated Richards Bay FC 1-0 through Mokibelo Ramabu’s goal in another evening match held at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban.
