Gift Bolo does not want Sibusiso Zingange to return to winning ways at his expense as they meet in a 10 rounds bout in Bloemfontein later this month.
Actually, Bolo wants to see Zingange’s trend of losing to Eastern Cape-born boxers continuing when they collide on Friday, 27 October.
Zingange’s last two losses were against Eastern Cape-born boxers Lunga Sitemela and Asanda Gingqi. The two fights ended prematurely due to injuries to Zingange.
“Every boxer has confidence until he or she gets into the ring. Zingange and I know each other. We sparred against each other at the Brian Mitchell Boxing Academy in Edenvale,” Bolo said.
Bolo, who was born in Mncotsho, Ntabozuko, is confident that only his hand is going to be raised after the end of this duel with Zingange.
“There’s nothing that he’s gonna do to me. I know he will pace himself at the beginning of the fight. This is going to be another loss for Zingange,” Bolo, who is trained by Vusi Mtolo, remarked.
