Al Ahly scored two important goals as they held Tanzanian side Simba SC to a 2-2 draw in an African Football League quarter-final first leg encounter at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, on Friday evening.
Kibu Denis Prosper and Sadio Kanoute netted for Simba while Reda Slim and Mahmoud Kahraba scored for the Egyptian giants.
This encounter was the first match of the Confederation of African Football’s new money-spinning African Football League.
