AmaZulu have moved to the quarter-finals of the Carling Knockout following a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday evening.

Taariq Fielies, formerly with Cape Town City, broke the hearts of the Amakhosi faithfuls when he beat Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune to score Usuthu’s winning goal in the 88th minute.

The loss means that Chiefs’ trophy drought continues as they failed in the first hurdle in the Carling Knockout.
