Kaizer Chiefs caretaker coach Cavin Johnson won his first game in charge at Amakhosi after he led the Naturena-based side to a 3-2 win over struggling Cape Town Spurs in a DStv Premiership match at an empty FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Wednesday evening.

Amakhosi led 2-1 at interval with goals from Edson Castillo and Ranga Chivaviro while Luvuyo Phewa scored for the Urban Warriors. 

Both side scored a goal each in the second half with Christian Basomboli Saile making it 3-1 for Amakhosi before Luke Baartman netted the Urban Warriors’ second goal. 

Elsewhere, Moroka Swallows defeated TS Galaxy 1-0 while Polokwane City and Supersport United drew 1-1.
