AmaZulu came from behind to beat their neighbours Lamontville Golden Arrows 3-1 in a DStv Premiership match at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammersdale on Sunday afternoon.
Abafana Bes’thende promised much after they shot to the lead through Gladwin Shitolo’s goal in the 17th minute.
Things changed dramatically during the last 10 minutes of the match as Nigerian-born forward Augustine Kwem netted a hattrick to give Usuthu three points.
The former TS Galaxy and Chippa United forward scored his first goal in the 80th minute. Three minutes later, he gave Usuthu the lead and completed his hattrick in referee’s added time.
Meanwhile, Richards Bay FC beat luckless Cape Town Spurs 1-0 through Thato Mohlamme’s 72nd minute goal at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban.
