FIFA has banned Eastern Cape-based DStv Premiership side Chippa United from registering new players.
The transfer ban followed after the Chilli Boys unfairly terminated their former player Adbi Banda’s contract, who then took the matter to FIFA.
The 28-year-old Banda, who now plays for Richards Bay FC, joined the Chilli Boys in July last year and left the Gqeberha side three months ago.
