SuperSport United defeated Al Hilal Benghazi 2-1 from Libya in a CAF Confederation Cup match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday evening.

Selaelo Rasebotja gave Matsatsantsa a Pitori an early lead as he netted in the 11th minute following an assist from Phathutshedzo Nange. 

It took the visiting Libyans 12 minutes to equalise as they scored through Mohamed Salim. 

Matsatsantsa were then reduced to 10 men after goalkeeper Washington Arubi was sent off for handling the ball outside the box in the 31st minute. 

The Libyans were also reduced to 10 men as Abdulaziz Mody was sent for an early shower nine minutes into the second half. 

And Etiosa Ighodaro, formerly with Chippa United, scored Matsatsantsa’s winning goal two minutes from full-time.
