Cape Town City fought hard as they drew goalless with log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Cape Town Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The draw means that the defending DStv Premiership champions remained unbeaten since the beginning of the current season.
Sundowns have collected 34 points from 12 matches while the Citizens, who are third on the Premiership table, have 26 points in 15 games.
This was Sundowns’ first goalless draw in eight months and 50 days. Their last goalless draw was against Moroka Swallows on 9 April this year.
