Gqeberha-based DStv Premiership side Chippa United’s last two losses to TS Galaxy and Polokwane City have resulted in Morgan Mammila being removed as head coach and installed as the club’s technical director.
Mammila rejoined the Chilli Boys from Moroka Swallows before the beginning of the season. And has been removed from his job with the club occupying 13th position on the Premiership standings with 18 points from 16 matches.
The Chilli Boys have since appointed Thabo September and Kwanele Kopo as co-coaches. September was previously with SuperSport United juniors while Loop coached Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) side Pretoria Callies.
