Junior-featherweight boxer Sanele Magwaza has returned to Caiphus Ntante’s Caiph Camp gym in Gqeberha just six months after leaving for Johannesburg.
Armed with a financial accounting qualification, the World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental junior-featherweight champion relocated to Johannesburg after he got a job there.
Magwaza, who defeated Malawian boxer Grey Chimkwapulo during their WBF Intercontinental junior-featherweight title fight at the Wells Estate Multipurpose Centre in April last year, spent four years in Gqeberha before relocating to Johannesburg.
The 31-year-old Magwaza is rated number three in the Boxing South Africa (BSA) ratings behind Western Cape champion Mzuvukile Magwaza and WBF International titlist Mxolisi Zuma, who are rated first and second respectively.
