Struggling Cape Town Spurs announced the promotion of 20-year-old defender Obakhe Tshaya from their reserve side to the first team on Friday afternoon.
Tshaya, who is originally from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, joined the Urban Warriors from Ulana Soccer Academy in Khayelitsha in 2020.
The Urban Warriors, who are rooted at the bottom of the Premiership standings, hope Tshaya will fit in into their defence.
