Chippa United announced on Friday morning that their transfer ban by world football governing body FIFA has been lifted and the Gqeberha-based Chilli Boys are now free to sign new players.
The Chilli Boys are now set to announce two new signings on Friday. The new signings are believed to their former player Bienvenu Eva Nga, who was released by Orlando Pirates this week, and Swazi international Kwakhe Thwala.
The Eastern Cape club were barred from signing and selling players after they failed to pay Tanzanian international Abdi Banda, who now plays for Richards Bay FC in KwaZulu-Natal.
