Guinea have moved to the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament after they beat Equitorial Guinea 1-0 at the Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe in Ivory Coast on Sunday evening.
The very important goal, which took the Syli National to the last eight of the tournament was scored by Mohamed Bayo deep in referee’s added time.
Earlier, Equitorial Guinea missed an opportunity to go ahead after their trusted forward Emilio Nsue Lopez’s penalty hit the upright in the 69th minute.
