The Elephants of Ivory Coast are going to play against the Nigerian Super Eagles in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament on Sunday evening.
This followed after the Elephants defeated the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) 1-0 in a semi-final encounter at the Olympic Stadium of Ebimpé on Wednesday evening.
Borussia Dortmund forward Sebastien Haller, who is 29 years old, scored the only goal of the match in the 65th minute.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles reached the final after they beat Bafana Bafana 4-2 on penalties in an earlier match. This clash was decided on spot kicks following a 1-1 draw after extra time.
