Andile Mshumpela of Mshu One Boxing Management has added one more member to make three trainers at the Tyamzashe Boxing Club in Mdantsane following the recent departure of Macbute ‘Mac Man’ Sinyabi.
Mshumpela has roped in Patrick ‘Sweet Pea’ Quka to fill the gap created by the former South African featherweight champion’s departure from his gym.
According to Mshumpela, Quka, an erstwhile bantamweight titlist, is going to form a three-man training team together with Luvuyo Tyamzashe and Lulama Mthoba.
Meanwhile, Sinyabi was released by Mshumpela after being accused of trying to recruit Enathi Stelle for a certain East London boxing promoter.
This allegedly happened before Stelle was stopped in the first round by Phumelela ‘The Truth’ Cafu during a vacant SA junior-bantamweight title contest at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) in December.
