Cape Town City announced on Friday morning that their long-serving midfielder Thabo Nodada had signed a new contract with them.
The 28-year-old Nodada from Ixopo, KwaZulu-Natal, has committed himself to the Citizens for the next three years.
“Thabo’s contribution to the club has been exceptional. Always hardworking and highly motivated. He consistently goes above and beyond for the team,” Citizens coach Eric Tinkler said.
Nodada was one of the players who moved to the Citizens after John Comitis bought the status of Mpumalanga Black Aces in 2016.
