Southpaw Kevin ‘The KO Kid’ Lerena is going to fight through the pain when he comes up against unbeaten Justis Huni from Australia at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday.
The 31-year-old Lerena, who is the reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) bridgerweight champion, goes to the fight on the back of the sad news of the passing away of his mother, who passed away following a long battle with cancer.
Lerena meets the 24-year-old Huni from Brisbane, Queensland, in a vacant World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Global heavyweight bout on the undercard of the clash betwee British boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou from Cameroon.
