Log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns continued to collect maximum points as they beat Chippa United 2-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday evening.
A trademark Teboho Mokoena long range shot resulted in the Tshwane giants taking the lead in the ninth minute. The Chilli Boys defence failed to clear a corner as they sent the ball straight to Mokoena, who struck from outside the box.
Second half substitute Tasreeq Matthews increased Sundowns’ lead four minutes before full-time when he beat Chilli Boys goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua, who had replaced an injured Stanley Nwabali.
