Boxing South Africa (BSA), through an initiative from the office of its accounting authority Mandla Ntlanganiso, is going to engage boxers’ managers and trainers in a virtual meeting on Thursday between 19h00 and 20h30.
Ntlanganiso, who was appointed as BSA accounting authority by Minister of Sport Zizi Kodwa last month, is going to talk about contractual matters, which include articles of agreement between a boxer and a promoter for a specific tournament as well as articles of agreement between a boxer and a promoter for long term engagement.
Acting BSA director of operations Mncedisi Ngqumba is expected to speak on the licensing process, technical challenges, renewals and new applications with emphasis on the due date.
Newly-appointed chairperson of the sanctioning committee Irvin Buhlalu and ratings committee chair Andre de Vries are going to speak on matters related to their respective committees while Dr Robert Selepe is due to speak on medical matters.
Meanwhile, BSA provincial manager in the Western Cape Mzoli Tempi has been given the task of speaking on weigh-in and tournament management.
