Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan has broadened his horizon once again, becoming a licensee in yet another Asian country just six months after he got his manager’s licence in Japan last September.
Cape Town-born Nathan, who is the chief trainer at Hotbox Gym in Johannesburg, is now a United Arab Emirates (UAE) Boxing Commission licensed boxers’ manager.
The award-winning Nathan declined to give reasons behind his decision to get licensed in the UAE except to say that people must watch the space.
Nathan trains current International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-flyweight champion Sivenathi ‘Special One’ Nontshinga, Lerato ‘Lights Out’ Dlamini, Katlego Khanyisa and former IBF minimumweight titlist DeeJay Kriel just to mention a few.
