Bafana Bafana came from behind to draw 1-1 with Andorra in an international friendly match at the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba, Algeria, in the early hours of Friday morning (South African time).

Andorra stunned Bafana when Ricardo Fernandez netted following a dreadful mistake by South African goalkeeper Ricardo Goss in the sixth minute.

After making numerous attempts to get an equaliser, Bafana finally levelled matters in the 25th minute through Elias Mokwana from Sekhukhune United.

Bafana coach Hugo Broos started the match with four debutants – Tapelo Xoki, Patrick Maswanganyi, Mlondi Mbanjwa and Mokwana.

Meanwhile, Bafana are going to play against Algeria in their second friendly match at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers on Tuesday next week.
