Applications for soon-to-be vacant positions of Boxing South Africa (BSA) provincial managers in four provinces closed on Friday last week.

The boxing regulatory body advertised positions in Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and Northern Cape. One successful candidate will be in charge of both the Western Cape and Northern Cape.

The Eastern Cape will, going forward, have only one provincial manager unlike it’s been the case where Phakamile Jacobs is in charge of the Border region and Nceba Dladla taking care of the Eastern Province.

Currently, Mike Dube is the provincial manager in KwaZulu-Natal while his colleague Mzoli Tempi is in charge in the Western Cape and the Northern Cape is under Hloks Ramagole, who is also the BSA Gauteng provincial manager.

With the closing date already come and gone, boxing followers will be eagerly awaiting to see whether new faces will be in charge or not in all four provinces.
