Mamelodi Sundowns have advanced to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League after they defeated Tanzanian side Young Africans 3-2 on penalties at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Friday evening.
This encounter was decided on spot kicks after the two sides had played goalless draws in both the first and second legs in Tanzania and South Africa respectively.
The 2016 African champions are now going to play against the winner of the match between Tunisian side Esperance and ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast.
