Chippa United maintained their impressive home run as they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Buffalo City Stadium in East London on Saturday afternoon.
The Chilli Boys took the lead in the 21st minute through Cameroonian Bienvenu Eva Nga’s header which beat Amakhosi goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma.
The Gqeberha-based Chilli Boys increased their lead with a beautiful goal from Sinoxolo Kwayiba in the 32nd minute. Tnis was Kwayiba’s second goal in two successive matches.
Rain which had been coming down since Friday didn’t dampen the spirits of the football lovers who converged at the East London venue.
