The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) has given Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile an all clear after specimens taken from him had a negative result.
A VADA official paid the former South African featherweight champion an announced visit at the All Winners Boxing Club in Mdantsane last month.
A letter from Margaret Goodman, VADA president, on Friday said: “This letter is to advise that one or more specimens collected from the below-named athlete have been analysed for performance-enhancing drugs through Cleaning Boxing Program administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association program.”
At the bottom of the letter, Goodman revealed that the results of the test were negative. VADA works with the World Boxing Council (WBC) in an effort to make sure that the fistic sport is clean.
