Moroka Swallows defeated Stellenbosch FC 2-0 in a DStv Premiership clash at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.
The Dube Birds, who desperately needed to win the match, led 1-0 at the end of the first half through Lindokuhle Mtshali’s 34th minute goal.
Malawian-born striker Gabadinho Mhango, formerly with AmaZulu, netted the Birds’ second goal in the 73rd minute.
