A new seven-member board of Boxing South Africa (BSA), which will be at the held for three years, was announced by Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa on Tuesday.
This followed after the National Professional Boxing Promoters Association (NPBPA) interdicted a BSA board, which was appointed by Kodwa last year.
Sifiso Shongwe will chair the board, which is made up of Dr Koketso Tsebe, Luxolo September, Sakhiwe Michael Sodo, Nande Mheshe, Romy Titus and Dr Luvuyo Bayeni.
This board has a huge task of bringing normalcy to South African boxing following a mess created by their previous board, whose term ended in December last year.
