A 36-member preliminary squad for next month’s two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers was announced by Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos on Wednesday.
Bafana are scheduled to travel to Uyo, Nigeria, in West Africa for a World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles on Friday, 7 June.
Four days later, Broos’ boys clash with Zimbabwe’s Warriors is another World Cup qualifier at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Meanwhile, Broos, a former Indomitable Lions coach, is going to whittle down his squad to 23 players in the next coming days.
