Oleksander Usyk from Ukraine made boxing history when he became an undisputed world heavyweight champion after he defeated Tyson Fury on points at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, early on Sunday morning.
Usyk added the World Boxing Council (WBC) title to his World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organisation (WBO titles.
The Ukrainian is the first heavyweight boxer to become an undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in 1999.
Back to the fight, there was a time when it looked like Fury was going to win the duel until Usyk came back strongly in the eighth round.
And Usyk delivered a barrage of blows to deck Fury in the ninth round. From there onwards, Usyk put more pressure on Fury to earn a split decision victory.
