Al Ahly defeated Esperance Sportive de Tunis 1-0 in the final of the CAF Champions League at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils had a bright start to the match as their captain Ramy Abdelaziz Moustafa Rabia’s header deflected on Roger Ben Boris Aholou to give them the only goal of the match in the fourth minute.
The first leg ended goalless in Tunis, Tunisia, last weekend and this was the record 12th time that the Red Devils had won the CAF Champions League title.
