Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos on Thursday announced a 23-member sqaud, which will do duty in back-to-back 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
The squad was trimmed down from 36 players and Bafana are scheduled to travel to Uyo, Nigeria, in West Africa for a World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles on Friday, 7 June.
Four days later, Broos’ boys will compe up against Zimbabwe’s Warriors is another World Cup qualifier at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Burnley FC striker Lyle Foster, who missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast earlier this year, is back in the Bafana fold.
