Piet Wiersma from the Netherlands won the 2024 edition of the Comrades Marathon up run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg on Sunday morning.
The 26-year-old Wiersma, who came second after Tete Dijana in the down run last year, won the race in 05:25:00 with Dan Moselakwe coming in 45 seconds behind him (05:25:45).
Meanwhile, Degefa Lafebo came third with Joseph Manyedi and Andrew Davies finishing fourth and fith respectively.
