Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams walked away with the most coveted award at the Premier Soccer League (PSL) awards on Sunday evening.
Wiliams won the PSL Footballer of the Season award ahead of his teammate Teboho Mokoena and Iqraam Rayners from Stellenbosch FC.
Gqeberha-born Williams also won the Goalkeeper of the Season award beating Stellies’ Sage Stephens and Badra Sangare from Sekhukhune United.
Meanwhile, Brazilians mentor Rulani Mokwena beat Stellies’ Steve Barker and Jose Riveiro from Pirates in the DStv Premiership Coach of the Season category.
