In a fight where both boxers gave as much as they got, Landile ‘Man Down’ Ngxeke prevailed over Filipino opponent Jerald Paclar at the Orient Theatre in East London on Sunday afternoon.

Following a fierce exchange of blows, South African bantamweight champion Ngxeke’s left uppercut sent Paclar to the canvas in the third round. Referee Siphiwo Mbini waved the fight over in one minute and 47 seconds.

Ngxeke’s stablemate and current SA junior-lightweight champion stopped Jufel Salina, who’s also from the Philippines, in the fifth round.
