Kaizer Chiefs, who are in Turkiye for a training camp ahead of the 2024/25 season, confirmed their technical team on Thursday morning.
After signing a two-year contract with Amakhosi, new coach Nasreddine Nabi from Tunisia has Khalil Ben Youssef as his first assistant and Fernando da Cruz is his second assistant.
Ilyes Mzoughi is in charge of the goalkeeping departnent while Safi Majdi is the strength and conditioning coach.
“After what has been a fairly exhaustive vetting process, it gives us great pleasure to finally welcome our new head coach to Kaizer Chiefs,” said Amakhosi sporting director Kaizer Motaung Junior.
“We believe we have found the right man to fulfil our vision of restoring Amakhosi to our rightful place at the top of the football pyramid, and we welcome coach Nabi and his technical team with the pledge of unity and support in pursuit of our common goal.”
Meanwhile, Chiefs are going to face Tanzanian side Young Africans in a Toyota Cup match at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 27 July.
