The National Professional Boxing Promoters Association (NPBPA) has called all its members to a meeting at 18h00 on Monday next week.
The meeting on Google Meet is set to discuss, among other things, the sanctioning model, sections 33 and 34 of the Boxing Act as well as monies promoters owe Boxing South Africa (BSA).
Most, if not all the NPBPA leaders owe the boxing regulator sizeable amounts of money with some of them owing up to R3 million.
Meanwhile, the BSA board announced last month that it was open to speaking to any promoter who owes the boxing regulator in an effort to make sure that there are more tournaments held around the country.
